This is a very small device that weighs less than 25 grams, measuring only 2.25” x 1.25” x .75”. It’ll fit in your pocket with ease and track your shots throughout the round. 

Impressive Battery Life

The new Link Pro case has a USB-C charging port (which is used for the iPhone 15 models) and is fully charged in four hours. The case will power the device for about 12 hours before needing another charge and they recommend keeping it in the device when not in use. 

You can easily check the battery life on the device as each of the four LED lights represents 25% battery life. If the lights are blinking, that means the device is still charging. Once it’s fully charged, the lights will stop blinking and remain illuminated.  

Turn on the power button and sync it with the Bluetooth to your phone. The Link Pro battery itself should last about 10 hours, which depending on the pace of play, is about two rounds of golf. 

Arccos notes that you should not store it in your golf bag under extreme temperatures (hot or cold). They also note that you should keep this accessory in your carry on bag, not your golf travel bag.

More Accurate Data 

For the most accurate data, they suggest keeping the device in the front pocket of your lead leg. It’s so small that you won’t even feel like it’s there as you swing the golf club. 

The new Link Pro has improved GPS and additional microphones, as well as a “mark the pin” location. When standing next to the pin, take out the tracker and hit the “pin location button” that is located on the side of the device. This lets you get the most accurate strokes gained data for putting as well. 

When you’re done with the round, make sure it’s synced up and in the app, make sure to end the round. Then turn off the device and put it back in the charging case.
